VISITOR CENTER MANAGER
We have a very exciting role as visitors centre manager, based in Galloway in the South West of Scotland. We are looking for a successful manager to join our company, currently receiving 15k visitors a year at our visitors centre. Currently producing Gin, Vodka and Single Malt Scotch Whisky. A great opportunity to help shape the future of the visitors attraction and become a valued member of one of Scotland’s most awarded distilleries.
Within Brand Standards, effectively managing the day to day running of all experiences, overseeing the smooth running of our retail and events offerings, including tours. Maximising revenue potentials and ensuring a 5 star experience to all visitors.
This includes but is not limited to rota’s, staff forecasting, P&L targets, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, inventory, and supply management, Tour’s, training and upholding regulation & legislation, implement new idea’s for visitors, implement new ways to attract visitors.
ESSENTIAL
• Lead the team by setting a positive example, performance managing as appropriate
• Warm and personable
• Effectively manage staff time shifts, and holidays as required by the business and within the budgeted allowance
• Continuously review and improve internal operations methods
• To generate new ideas for service and product
• Personal Licence, including knowledge of HACCP, Heath & safety & Fire safety
• Open and friendly with a desire to deliver exceptional experiences
• Must be able to communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
• Must have previous experience of working in Management with cross over relevancy
• Knowledge of P&L management
• Must be able to lead a team by creating the right example, training, motivating and mentoring to achieve desired ends
• Ability to clearly define productivity standards with quality requirements and methods needed to obtain them.
